Chinese manufacturer founded in 2006 Tecno Mobile, in Shanghai this week Future Lens organized the event and future Phantom X It showcased three innovative technologies that we will see in series phones. These interesting technologies attracted the attention of many technology enthusiasts, and users began to wonder how these technologies would be used in the Phantom X series.
We will see adjustable aperture in the Tecno Phantom X series
The first of these technologies, variable aperture, which Tecno calls W-shaped adjustable aperture, is inspired by the squid’s eye and designed to eliminate glare in difficult lighting conditions such as strong backlight.
This is an approach we have not seen before, and it is a matter of curiosity which sensor and lens combination Tecno will put the W-shaped shutter in front of. Tecno also showcased the industry’s first liquid telephoto macro lens.
We’ve seen liquid lens technology before, but never in a periscope module. Because periscope lenses are large, macro focusing is difficult to achieve in a traditional two-section housing.

Tecno’s approach uses voltage to adjust the lens curvature, dynamically adapting from wide to narrow, achieving 5cm macro focusing. Tecno says the liquid lens design allows the use of a large sensor.
Tecno has also detailed its Universal Tone technology once again. This technology uses three artificial intelligence-powered engines to perfect skin tones in photos. The Multi-Skin Tone Restoration Engine calibrates and adjusts skin tones using a color spectral matrix based on skin color chromatic research.
