The new Steam interface has appeared! How to pass?

The interface, which is in Beta version after the update, allows players to take notes during the game. In addition, we can display these notes with the transparency we want while playing the game. In this way, especially those who like strategy will not have to take notes on a separate window or phone.

In addition, thanks to the toolbar added with the new interface, we will be able to access the achievement progress, web browser and guides about the game much more easily while in the game. This toolbar will contain many more information such as screenshots we have taken, notes of game updates. Like the Notes tab, we can pin this tab to the screen whenever we want.

The update is not limited to the in-game interface only. In addition to these, the notification bar section is now greatly changed. With the new interface, notifications will include information such as active discounts for games on the wishlist.

How to switch to the new Steam interface?

• While Steam is running, click on “Steam” in the upper left corner and select “Settings” from the menu (Preferences on Mac).
• At the bottom of the “Beta Participation” section on the “Account” tab, click “Change…”.
• Select “Steam Beta Update” from the drop-down list and click “OK”.
• You will be prompted to restart Steam. Select the “Restart Steam” button. In this way, you can switch to the new Steam interface.
