Yesterday, a statement was made about the attack in the posts made from the official Telegram accounts of Ukraine. He stated that Russia attempted to attack Ukraine by using the Shaded-136 and Shaded-131 UAVs purchased from Iran and manufactured by Iran.
He stated that Ukraine resisted against Russia, which carried out the attack with a total of 54 UAVs, and they repulsed the attack by shooting down 52 of these UAVs. Regarding the issue, the Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement:on the night of 28 May 2023 the enemy attacked Ukraine from the north – from the Bryansk region, and from the south – from the Krasnodar region, with the Iranian attack aircraft Shahed-136 and Shahed-131. A record number of kamikaze drone attacks were seen, 54 in total.” he stated.
In the rest of the statement, he stated that the Ukrainian defense forces repulsed the attack with one wrist, that the battle ended successfully and that “52 Shahid Kamikaze UAVs” were shot down as a result of the successful battle.
