Car ownership has increased in Turkey in recent years. However, almost one-third of the vehicles in traffic are models that are 21 years old and older. This shows that new car sales are having difficulty maintaining their dominance in the market. A new research has revealed the most used cars in Turkey.
The most used car in Turkey is the Tofaş family
Journalist Emre Özpeynirci examined the 10 most preferred cars in our country. Tofaş Şahin/Doğan/Kartal models, which are in the first place on the list, are at the top with 821 thousand units. In second place is Toyota Corolla with 628 thousand sales, and in third place is Renault R12-Toros with 553 thousand sales.
It is possible to say that the Renault brand is dominant in the list. Accordingly, Renault makes up five vehicles in the top 10. Renault models such as Megane, Clio, Symbol and R9-Broadway are at the top of the list.
