A new WhatsApp Beta update has been released for Android users. With this update numbered 2.22.8.3, users had the chance to try the message reactions feature that has been expected for months. The feature, which is currently being tested by a small number of users, introduced 6 reaction emojis.
As can be seen from the image above shared by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp Beta offers 6 reaction options to Android users. Like, heart, laugh, surprise, sad and thank you emojis; When you press and hold your finger on a message, it automatically appears on your screen. For those who don’t know, this feature works the same as the emoji reactions we’ve seen on Facebook and Instagram DM before.
WhatsApp is currently testing this feature around a very small number of users. Therefore, all Beta users, unfortunately, will not be able to benefit from this reaction feature.
