The Ice Age’s Squirrel Finally Ate the Acorn [Video]

Scrat, the memorable squirrel of the legendary animated series Ice Age, finally managed to eat the acorn he had been chasing for centuries. The video was released for a special purpose by the studio behind Ice Age.

The Ice Age series, which made its debut in 2002 and is in its twentieth year this year, has added characters that are engraved in our memories to our lives. One of the most prominent of these characters is, of course, squirrel named Scrat was. Scrat has been chasing an acorn throughout the entire Ice Age series, but this acorn could not reach.

No matter what he did, Scrat always encountered something that prevented him from reaching or biting the acorn, and throughout this adventure, Scrat broke the ice and caused natural disasters. The character became so popular that Disney Plus even decided to release an animated series for this character called Ice Age: Scrat Tales. Scrat, whose adventure we have been watching for 20 years, finally arrived at that acorn today for a special reason.

The Ice Age squirrel finally ate the acorn:

Blue Sky Studios, the animation studio behind Ice Age and popular productions like Robots and Rio, faced the decision to shut down after Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox. For Scrat, the studio that brought Ice Age and the characters into our lives finally decided to show a happy ending.

Deciding to bid the fans a big farewell in their last days, the studio shared an unlisted video from a channel called ‘Finale (The End)’. In this video, which you can see above, Scrat tries to bite the acorn he’s been chasing for years and managed to eat to the end. The video was watched by hundreds of thousands of Ice Age fans in a short time after it was shared. The obstacles Scrat has encountered in his adventures so far are also buried in history with the following images:
