Berlin The “German Startup Monitor” has good news and bad news for the start-up scene this year. First the good: The business climate for start-ups has improved significantly again and is now at the level of the time before Corona. The bad news: In order to benefit from this upswing in the long term, start-ups are increasingly lacking the staff.
The shortage of skilled workers not only weakens established companies, especially start-ups get into trouble. They cannot pay the same salaries and offer less security than large corporations with which they compete for top talent. In addition, many start-ups are active in the tech field, where the lack of well-trained staff is particularly glaring.
