Cryptocurrency Exchange OKX Will Delist Solana Futures Contracts Tomorrow
Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has announced that it will delist Solana futures contracts:
“OKX will delist SOLUSD futures contracts (including weekly, bi-weekly, quarterly, bi-quarter contracts) on November 10, 2022 at 11:00 am Turkey time to improve market liquidity and improve overall user experience. And SOLUSD options will not generate new expiry.
OKX will delist futures contracts for SOLUSD and close the respective trades. Related orders in the order book will also be canceled after they are removed from the list.
OKX will deliver the positions of SOLUSD futures contracts on the arithmetic average of the last trade price 1 hour before the relevant contract is delisted.
If the traded price shows anomalies in the hour before the quote, OKX may adjust the final delivery price to a reasonable level for delivery.
The exchange asked investors to reduce their pre-delist risk:
Considering that the market may fluctuate sharply before delisting, please manage your level of risk by reducing actual leverage ratios or closing positions in advance.
If you have more than $10,000 in SOLUSD futures contracts at the time of delivery, within the first 30 minutes after delisting, you will be restricted from transferring assets from your trading account.
Asset transfers will return to normal after 30 minutes. Order history and invoice records will still be available after delisting.”
