After that, the Minister of National Education Özer said, “We are taking a one-week holiday in our schools all over Turkey until February 13.” However, after the size of the earthquake was understood more clearly, a new decision was taken. Accordingly, the break in education has been extended until February 20.

In addition, students (parents) living in the earthquake zone will be able to transfer to schools in the provinces of their choice, if they wish. In other words, they will be able to continue their education in the provinces they want throughout Turkey, regardless of their residential address.
