Shiba Inu ‘s Shibarium has reached its first major milestone. According to data provided by the blockchain’s explorer, Shibarium has currently recorded more than one million blocks. With an average block time of 5.0 seconds, it took the Shibarium bridge just over a month to reach such a significant milestone.

Shibarium, went live on the mainnet in August after going through a several-month testing period. It initially suffered a few technical glitches with an influx of new users causing transactions to get stuck. However, the issues were resolved relatively quickly and the platform has now recorded over 3.3 million transactions. Additionally, the total number of wallet addresses on the network is approximately 1.25 million.
Despite these impressive statistics, there is a significant decline in daily transaction numbers, indicating very little adoption. After reaching an impressive peak of 202,970 transactions in December, Shibarium is currently processing less than 15,000 transactions per day.
