Altcoin investors pay attention to this date in July

According to a new announcement from the dYdX team, the v4 version of the platform goes live on July 5th. Decentralized exchange DYDX said Wednesday that it will launch the testnet phase of its Cosmos-based blockchain next week.

Created in the Cosmos ecosystem, DYDX Chain has completed Milestone 4. This version includes more than 40 validators running the platform’s software. In the Twitter announcement, it was stated that the testnet will start on July 5 at 20:00 Turkish time.

Some of the functions to be tested in the testnet phase include linking wallets, viewing the order book, placing market orders and viewing account information. Initially, the testnet will only work with Bitcoin and Ethereum. However, DYDX plans to expand to more than 30 networks through future network upgrades.

DYDX also wrote that DYDX launched its private testnet in March to test the functionality. Complementing Milestone 5, the mainnet aims to launch in September.
