The Age of Second Hand Vehicles Being More Expensive than New Vehicles Is Ending

In addition to the main problems such as housing and food in terms of economy, the automotive sector is also a major problem in Turkey. In fact, due to the second-hand sector, people in some cases buy the second hand of the vehicle from scratch. they cost more.

Although they don’t buy it like that, automotive dealers sell it that way. However, this situation is changing now, because the regulation on the sale of second-hand vehicles an intervention is coming. Along with this intervention, there are also issues that affect the sale of new vehicles.

Dealers who make it difficult to sell new cars will be deprived of their second-hand vehicle sales authorization.

There were four subparagraphs a, b, c and ç of the 9th article in the second-hand vehicle sales regulation. This situation, which we have summarized above, is subject to Article 9. clause d will be added as Let’s take a look at clause 9 itself and clause 5:

Article 9 – Certificate of Authority

1. Upon the application to be made via the Information System within ten days from the date of occurrence of this situation, the enterprise that lost any of the conditions specified in Article 6,
2. If it is determined by the Ministry that you do not have any of the conditions specified in Article 6,
3. If the renewal application is not made within ten days despite the warning made by the Ministry through the Information System or in writing, due to the failure to apply for renewal within the period specified in the second paragraph of Article 8,

ç) Despite the warning made by the Ministry over the Information System or in writing to the enterprise that violates the provisions of this Regulation;

1. If the violation is not remedied within the given time,
2. If the violation is repeated in the same calendar year, it is canceled,
3. The company whose authorization certificate has been revoked is notified via the Information System along with the reason for this situation.
4. In accordance with subparagraph (ç) of the first paragraph, an authorization certificate shall not be issued for a period of one year from the date of cancellation to the enterprise whose authorization certificate has been revoked, and to the other enterprises and the enterprises that the owner of the enterprise is the representative of.

The newly added clause d is as follows:

4. The first registration, such as the company, which is also engaged in motor land vehicle trade, refrains from selling, demands a price higher than the sales price of the vehicle recommended by the manufacturer or distributor, forces the consumer to buy accessories or barter, or determines the clearing price significantly below the market price. In case of activities that make it difficult to reach the motor land vehicle, The second-hand sales authorization certificate may be temporarily revoked..

In short, a second blow came as a change in regulation after the big brands that gave up selling at the dealerships and the automotive dealers who cheated and scrapped their business. No more used cars, just a brand new version high price will not be drawn because it is not in the market.
