Blockchain Economy Summit is back in Istanbul after a two-year mandatory break due to the pandemic! The summit, which has hosted thousands of participants so far, will be held at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel, one of the most exclusive and famous venues in Istanbul, on 27-28 July 2022 this year.
The second Turkey leg of the Summit was the last major Blockchain event held in Turkey before the pandemic, and now the fourth leg of the Summit will be the first event to bring the crypto community together on the bridge between Europe and Asia.
According to Chainanalysis data; Since Covid-19 started, the adoption of cryptocurrencies has increased considerably. The adoption rate has increased by more than 2300% since the third quarter of 2019 and has grown by more than 881% since last year.
Looking at the Turkish side, 16% of the population (3.6 million people) owns cryptocurrencies. This makes Turkey one of the countries with the largest adoption of cryptocurrencies. This means that Turkey is more excited about the cryptocurrency market than ever before.
