Berlin The Chancellor promises support. “Prices are rising and are a heavy burden on citizens,” wrote Olaf Scholz (SPD) on Twitter. “Today we have launched more than 30 billion euros in aid for the needy, families, low-income earners and commuters in the cabinet to noticeably relieve them all.” Shortly before that, the federal government had decided on the relief package of the traffic light coalition on Wednesday.
