Google announced the launch date of the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro models in the past weeks. Tensor G2 features that will power the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro models have been leaked.
In the video published by Google, the processor image to be used for Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro includes the expression G2. In previously published reports, it is stated that the Tensor G2 model, called GS201, has 8 cores.

According to the leaked information, Google will use a 2+2+4 core design in the Tensor G2 processor. The new processor will have 2 high performance cores, 2 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores.
In the 1st generation Tensor processor, two ARM Cortex-X1, two ARM Cortex-A76 and four ARM Cortex-A55 were used. It is stated that there will be a similar sequence in the Tensor G2 processor. However, we can see ARM Cortex-A78 instead of ARM Cortex-A76 in performance cores.
