TCG has been delivered to the Anatolian Naval Forces!

Shipyards in Turkey have been producing world-class production in the civil field for a long time. Capturing this quality in the military field and even becoming one of the leading countries was undoubtedly with the MİLGEM project, whose intellectual foundations were laid in the 90s and started to be materialized as of 2004. Finally, TCG Anadolu was delivered to the Naval Forces Command.

The construction of TCG Anadolu (L-400), the construction of which was first started in 2014, was completed by Sedef Shipyard and launched last year. Then, the assembly and integration works of the electronic systems started. Final checks and pre-delivery inspections have been completed.

It was delivered to the Naval Forces Command today. The TCG Anadolu inventory entry date will be in the coming days after the acceptance tests. With a rough estimate, we can say that he can go on his first mission in late March or April. But there are many misconceptions about this ship. Because although it is versatile and convenient, it is not actually an aircraft carrier.
