Surprising Ripple (XRP) Decision From Binance!

The new CEO of Binance US, the American arm of Binance, has made a decision about an airdrop for Ripple (XRP) holders. Brian Shroder, the new CEO of Binance US, announced that it will support Flare’s Songbird (SGB) Airdrop Program for XRP holders on the platform.

cryptocoin.com As we reported, Shroder replaced former Binance US CEO Brian Brooks, who resigned in August, in early September. In a late-night tweet, Shroder stated that Binance US will support the Songbird (SGB) airdrop because he believes it is the right thing to do. This airdrop will take place for eligible XRP holders. The Global Binance platform had already announced in late October that it would support this airdrop. Shroder used the following statements in his tweet:

To the Songbird community: I promised to be a customer first. I heard you and I agree with you. I take back the decision made by my predecessors. Binance US will support the Songbird airdrop as this is the right thing to do.

Shroder also posted an optimistic message about the heavy focus on customer service, that from now on the organization will become even more customer focused; stressed that they have started to take clear and meaningful steps in this direction. “We have a lot of work to do to achieve the high level of customer service that I want Binance.US to be recognized for, but the team and I are ready to work to earn your trust,” he said.
