The Supreme Court, which is one of Turkey’s four high judicial bodies and the last review authority of decisions and provisions, announced that they have been carrying out important studies on artificial intelligence, which has become widespread in recent years. The institution, which wants to take the forensic quality to the next level by taking advantage of the blessings of the technology in question, announced that they will switch to the artificial intelligence system in the coming years.

According to the news of Sabah newspaper; On the Court of Cassation, it is aimed to increase the judicial quality by facilitating the dissemination of precedent and current decisions through a new artificial intelligence supported system. It should be noted that a great progress has been made in the work on the new system, which is expected to be operational in 2023.

President of the Court of Cassation Mehmet Akarca stated that since 2015, they have made all decisions accessible to the public and scrutinized in accordance with the principle of transparency and accountability, however, there are various difficulties in determining the current and guiding values ​​among over six million decisions. Expressing that the artificial intelligence system is now necessary for many such reasons, Akarca used the following statements;
