“Supertalent” start: Elena (10) sang straight into the final – TV

Whether Dieter Bohlen (67) also zapped in?

The 15th “Supertalent” season started on Saturday evening with a completely new jury and a slightly different set of rules. And that has never happened before: the very first appearance was rewarded with a golden buzzer. “Wunderkind” Elena Turcan (10) sang right into the final.

At the start they sat behind the jury’s desk: fashion designer “Let’s Dance” judge Motsi Mabuse (40), influencer Riccardo Simonetti (28), the magic duo Ehrlich Brothers and fashion designer Michael Michalsky (54). Football star Lukas Podolski (36), who was actually planned as Bohlen’s successor, tested positive for Corona after the first show was recorded, but is said to be back in the live shows.

Even if the kicker was still in front of the camera in the first recording, another episode was broadcast on Saturday. And it started with a surprise. The appearance of a little opera singer gave collective goose bumps. The 10-year-old Elena sang Puccini’s “O Mio Babbino Caro” like a great one. Before it went on stage, the vocal wonder revealed: “My mother told me that I was singing before I could speak.”

With an appearance in the final

When the student appeared, the jury couldn’t shut their mouths because of enthusiasm. Even the new backstage presenters Lola Weippert (25) and Chris Tall (30) had tears in their eyes. Before the young artist finished her lecture, Michael Michalsky hit the golden buzzer. Elena was in the final.

While Weippert and Chris Tall even fell on their knees in front of her, the designer cheered: “When you started singing, I first thought it was playback. I haven’t heard something beautiful in a long time. ”Riccardo Simonetti still couldn’t believe it. “You opened your mouth and we all got the spit off.” The Ehrlich Brothers agreed: “You are a child prodigy!” Elena now has the chance to win the final.

Longing for the old jury

Anyone who progressed further had to tremble again at the end of the show. In this season, the jury will decide who will make it to the semi-finals immediately after the performances. In addition to Michalsky, there will always be new guest jurors in the next episodes. Many “Supertalent” fans mourned the old line-up during the start of the season.

In fact, the new “super talent” is completely lacking in tension. Without Sprücheklopfer Bohlen and his best buddy Bruce Darnell (64), who always laughed so heartily or sobbed deeply at some appearances, the first episode turned into a lengthy number revue.
