Strategy does not go down well with investors – share continues to fall

Dusseldorf The price slide at the delivery service Delivery Hero is almost unprecedented. Without warning, the stock price plummeted nearly 30 percent on Thursday. And at the start of trading on Friday, the papers fell again by more than ten percent. Within less than a year, the price has melted from a peak of 140 euros to 40 euros.

Even experts were overwhelmed by the development. “Last time I only experienced something like this at Wirecard,” exclaimed one analyst spontaneously. The triggers were the preliminary figures for the past financial year and the forecast for this year. The company has so far met all forecasts and promises a clear continuation of the growth course – but investors had apparently expected even more.
