StarkNet Will Donate All Transfer Income to Turkey in February

From Ethereum layer 2 solutions StarkNet, He stated that he will donate all the transfer commission fees he will receive in February to Turkey.

In the statement made by StarkNet Turkey, the Turkey arm of the platform, it was said that the amount to be donated was 27 Ethereum as of February 9.

“As the StarkNet family, we share the deep sadness and pain caused by the earthquake disaster in our country, and we, as the entire StarkNet team, try to work with all our strength in order to heal our wounds even a little bit.

From this point of view, we would like to announce to you, our esteemed followers and the Turkish nation, that all transfer fee commissions made on StarkNet in February will be donated to Turkey.

We also state that the total transfer commission accumulated on StarkNet as of February 9 is 27 Ethereum.

We wish our condolences to our citizens who lost their lives, and a speedy recovery to the injured.”

After the earthquake, many, including Binance, cryptocurrency exchange and altcoin company announced that they would send various aids for our country.

Binance also stated that for users registered in the earthquake zone on its platform, 100 dollars (about 1800 lira) BNB will be defined to the accounts free of charge. However, Binance reported that this assistance is for users who have registered before and will not be distributed to new users.

In addition, it was announced that a large amount of donations were made to the crypto money addresses shared by Haluk Levent, the founder of the Ahbap platform.
