Star Trek Creator’s Signature Encoded into DNA by Converting to NTF

Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry signed a contract with Lucille Ball’s Desilu Productions to finance Star Trek in 1965. And this signature was converted to NFT years later.

Roddenberry’s signature was inserted into the DNA of a living bacterial cell. To this NFT It is called ‘El Primero’ which means first in Spanish.

However, cells that are currently frozen will be revived in the future and bacteria will multiply.

These bacteria were on display at the Art Basel Miami Beach art fair, which kicked off December 2.

It uses the NFT Solana infrastructure, which is the signature of the creator of Star Trek. The CEO of the platform on which NFT is published, talked about the possibilities offered by the Solana infrastructure to NFT manufacturers, while the CEO of the DNA coding team stated that this study is a good example of what data storage in DNA can do.
