Söder is planning drastic cuts for the unvaccinated – Wüst calls for a vaccination offensive

In view of the exploding corona numbers Bavaria’s Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) announced drastic cuts for unvaccinated people in the Free State. This should be discussed and decided on this Friday in the coalition, said Söder on Thursday evening in Munich. “It is of course a de facto lockdown for unvaccinated people,” he announced without giving any details. But Bavaria will exhaust all legal possibilities – both according to the previous and the new legal situation, i.e. on the basis of the new Infection Protection Act.

Lockdown measures also for vaccinated people – which according to the old legal situation would still be possible for a certain transitional period – says Söder, in his own words, however, considers it legally difficult. “A complete restriction, for example for vaccinated people, would hardly be imaginable under the current circumstances and would be constitutional.”
