Popular rapper Snoop Dogg on Thursday ApeCoin (APE) and the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) released new music with an NFT theme. Titled “Ape Drops 03 : An 8th”, the collection consists of eight tracks made with rapper Wiz Khalifa.
After the release of the collection, the price of APE increased by close to 17%. An upward trend in price has continued since Wednesday when news broke that BAYC owner Yuga Labs has raised $450 million in a funding round led by venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz.
Music NFT Can Only Be Purchased With Apecoin
Snoop Doggannounced this sale on its official Twitter account. Pieces will be available for purchase for two days and will only be available for purchase with BAYC’s APE token, which was released via an airdrop last week.
Each NFT is currently on sale with a price tag of 12 to 15 APEs, with a total of 8000 NFTs on sale. In terms of dollars, the current prices are between 165 and 210 dollars.
