Frankfurt – Hours of power failure in three districts of Frankfurt! Because a current transformer in the substation failed, the residents in Nied, Höchst and Unterliederbach had to help themselves out with candles in the evening.
At 5:20 p.m., the fire brigade moved out due to smoke development in the Höchst substation. The fire brigade provided fresh air with a large fan, and emergency services were also on site in the districts to help residents.

The ambulance service was also on duty, bringing nine patients with home ventilators to hospitals. There were no injuries.
The mission ended around 9 p.m. The responsible energy supplier, Südwag, restored the energy supply for the affected districts at 1:15 a.m.
