A memory between Béjar, who worked as an engineering director at Facebook between 2009 and 2015, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg came to light. Accordingly, Béjar told Meta CEO about the harassment bullying her own daughter experienced on Instagram. However, he said that his concerns and warnings were not taken into account. She and her friends began having terrible experiences, including repeated unwanted sexual advances and harassment. She reported these events to the company and the company did nothing. This means the person will go to other profiles and continue to spread misogyny. I don’t think reporting or doing more content review is the solution.
