Sharing Dogecoin (DOGE) From Elon Musk: This Problem Should Be Solved

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on Wednesday that dogecoin fees must fall for it to become a viable payment option. Musk’s announcement came after cinema chain AMC announced that it could add Dogecoin as a payment method. Details are here.

“It is very important that Doge transaction fees drop to make things like buying movie tickets viable,” Musk said in a tweet. The billionaire CEO used these phrases while responding to Dogecoin creator Billy Markus, who is no longer interested in the digital asset.

The sharing of Markus, which received a response from Musk, was as follows:

“While announcing the Robinhood crypto wallet (it will create), the AMC CEO not only talks about adopting Dogecoin, but says it is the most engaging tweet he has ever shared, the crypto market finally sees green.”

Cryptocurrencies had a weak start to the week. Bitcoin fell 8% to $43,000 on Monday, while Dogecoin fell 13% to $0.22. Most cryptocurrencies made some gains Wednesday after Robinhood announced it would launch a crypto wallet by next year, and AMC CEO Adam Aron announced the adoption of Dogecoin in theaters.

Musk has been relatively quiet on cryptocurrencies since Tesla announced that it would suspend vehicle purchases using Bitcoin due to its impact on the environment. It had previously hinted at adding Dogecoin support for the electric vehicle manufacturer, but its latest proposal for lower fees still shows that it is unsure about this support.
