Berlin The reports of Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian military bases in Crimea continue. The Russian anti-aircraft defense claims to have fended off all of them – which cannot be proven. But the attacks show that Ukraine is keeping the pressure on the peninsula, which was illegally annexed in 2014, high.

The recapture of Crimea is one of Kiev’s declared goals after the Russian war of aggression has increasingly stalled in recent months. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the capture could be done through diplomatic or military channels.

  1. Purely diplomatic solution
  2. Offensive leading to diplomatic solution
  3. Military Reconquest
