Former US President Donald Trump would respond to nuclear threats from Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin according to his words respond by sending American submarines off the Russian coast. “He says they’re a nuclear power, but we’re a bigger nuclear power,” the Republican told Fox Business on Monday. Putin “constantly used the N-word (…), the nuclear word”. The US has the greatest submarines in the world, “the most powerful machines ever built”. Trump added, “One should say, look, if you mention that word again, we’ll send them over, and we’ll go up and down your coast.”
Trump said the US could not stand by and watch Putin kill thousands in Ukraine. He again accused his Democratic successor, Joe Biden, of weakness, claiming that Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if he – Trump – were still president.
