Berlin Ramzan Kadyrov was Vladimir Putin’s most important ally when he started the second Chechen war in 1999. The brutal murder gangs of the current president of the Caucasian republic helped the Russian army subdue the insurgents in Chechnya. And Kadyrov has also sent his troops to the side of the Russian army in Ukraine.

But now Kadyrov’s anger at Putin is great: he doesn’t understand the seriousness of the situation, he wrote on his Telegram channel on Sunday and threatened: “If no changes are made to the strategy of the military special operation today or tomorrow, I have to talk to the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the country’s leadership to explain to them the actual situation on the ground.”
