Many leaks about GTA 6 have emerged in recent weeks. Although every post by Rockstar Games raises curiosity for GTA 6, we have not seen an official statement yet. However, the company’s new “motion system” patent for GTA 6 will cause the characters to behave differently even in different weather conditions.
GTA 6 receives patent for new movement system for realistic animations
A patent uncovered by a former Rockstar developer shows that the studio is looking for a different experience in new games like Grand Theft Auto 6. He is working on a new technology to make the behavior of NPCs (non-player characters) extremely realistic.
Patent named “System and Method for Virtual Character Movement”; It reveals changes in animations depending on the weather, the character’s physical condition or injuries. Stating that a character will consist of blocks, the technology eliminates the need for special animation for each scenario.
Players who reviewed the patent believe that this type of animation system will make NPCs much more responsive. Characters can mimic human movements based on factors such as fatigue or anger.
Although this technology does not directly target a game, it can have great effects on open world productions such as GTA 6. It could also allow Rockstar to create side characters with much more dynamic behavior compared to previous games.
According to what has been revealed by various reliable sources, GTA 6 is expected to be introduced this year and released in 2025. Of course, it should not be forgotten that this is not official information and has emerged in the light of leaks.
