Robinhood Announces New App: SHIB and These Altcoins Are Supported!

One of the leading trading companies RobinhoodApple is preparing to launch its new crypto wallet that supports a handful of leading altcoins on its iOS operating system.

In a new blog post Robinhood, its Web3-enabled wallet is now available to all iOS customers worldwide, and shiba inu (SHIB) has announced that it will add support for crypto assets such as layer-2 scaling solution Polygon (MATIC) and Ethereum (ETH).

Other supported by wallet cryptocurrencyAmong the assets are Solana (SOL), Uniswap (UNI), and stablecoin USD Coin (USDC).

According to Robinhood’s Johann Kerbat, the improvements were included in the wallet after the company reflected user feedback from last year’s beta.

The feedback we’ve received for Robinhood Wallet since its first beta has been overwhelmingly positive.

Users have told us that they love the app’s accessibility and ease of use, and they really like the ability to self-store their digital assets and trade them on Polygon with no network fees. They also told us that they want access to more coins on more chains, so we quickly added support for Ethereum.

Kerbat added that Robinhood plans to make the wallet compatible with the Android operating system this year. He did not give an exact date. The trading giant also stated that it plans to support more tokens and release a Web3 browser.
