Ripple CEO Speaks About SEC: Marks This Date For XRP Litigation!

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse expects the ongoing securities lawsuit with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to conclude within a few months.

Brad Garlinghouse in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum (WEF) In an interview with CNBC, he made important statements regarding the end date of the lawsuit between Ripple and the SEC. Stating that he submitted all the necessary documents in full in the ongoing lawsuit, Garlinghouse said, that the clear decision may come as June expressed.

Sharing his positive thoughts on the course of the case in the continuation of his speech, the CEO seems confident that the result will be in favor of Ripple:

We expect the judge to make a final decision in 2023. You can’t really control when a judge makes his decision. But I am optimistic that we will reach a conclusion in the coming single-digit months. However, I believe the case will end in our favour.

Garlinghouse, who does not hesitate to make sarcastic remarks against the SEC, reiterated some of the points he had made before. Stating that the actions of the SEC are shameful, Garlinghouse also said that Ripple’s betrayed by the regulatory agency argued.

Some of the SEC’s actions were embarrassing as a US citizen. Judging by their reactions, they must be joking. They never once told me that they thought XRP could be a security. So going back and we’ve been thinking all this time that XRP was a security but we didn’t tell you… It doesn’t feel like a real partnership between the public and private sectors.
