“Not worth the money”

The majority of those who commented on the sharing said that Marvel gave ‘nice money’, and stated that the money given was not worth the effort they spent. The shares made by some users were as follows:

“Frankly, I’m sick and tired of working on Marvel shows. Marvel probably has the worst production methodology and VFX management. They can never fix the look of the show before more than half of the time allotted for the show is over. Artists working on Marvel series are never paid as much as the amount of work they spend.”

“I request not to work on Marvel movies and TV shows. Unfortunately, they are becoming our biggest client. They are waiting for a series of options before they can change their mind three more times.”

“I’ve been at Marvel for almost three years. Welcome to the seventh floor of hell.”

“I’m on my third Marvel project in a row and I literally woke up at 5:30 am on a Saturday with the stress of ‘I don’t want to do this anymore. Now it’s 6 o’clock and I’m doing Reel to apply to a place that has projects outside of Marvel because I can’t do that anymore.”

“Marvel had grown men punching walls and throwing monitors out of stress. I lost myself a few times and saw the burden this could have on marriages. But his money was great. Forget about Marvel as a client, it’s not worth it to have his name on the credits.”

“It took me over six months to recover from WandaVision’s crisis. It’s not worth it. Not when there are better-run projects that look just as good out there.”

As Marvel continues to become addicted to visual effects day by day, the reactions of the visual effects artists are in the company. how it will lead to changes not yet known.
