Resident Evil 2 mobile port may be coming!

To date, we have seen many Resident Evil games coming to the mobile platform. The closest example is Resident Evil 4. Both the old and new ones came to mobile. Now it has been claimed that there will be a Resident Evil 2 mobile port.

Images allegedly belonging to the Resident Evil 2 mobile port have been leaked

The images show some graphical downgrades. This is also required for the mobile port. So there appear to be signs that a phone port of Resident Evil 2 is being developed at some point.

The information was posted on Reddit. Concept images emerged via a LinkedIn profile. The information is tentative, but some community members believe these are concept images of the Resident Evil 2 mobile port. Others suggest that this project is a collaboration concept for Life-After from NetEase.

The big Stardew Valley update release date has been announced by the game’s developer, ConcernedApe. Here are the details!

Regardless, the project is still ongoing, according to LinkedIn, but it probably wouldn’t be surprising if it was announced as canceled. Still, there’s no official word yet, so we’re waiting for news from Capcom to confirm whether another Resident Evil mobile port will be released.

Capcom is said to have several Resident Evil games in the works. Therefore, there is an expectation that a remake like Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 9 will be introduced.

Currently, Resident Evil 4 Remake is the latest game in the series. This remake was also a success for Capcom, and a new version was released this month. Resident Evil 2 has also been on the agenda lately as it was included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription service last month.

Speaking of Xbox Game Pass, we also saw the Resident Evil 3 remake added to Xbox Game Pass this month. So even if you can’t currently play Resident Evil 2 directly on mobile, you can check out Xbox Game Pass.
