After completing the Shiba Eternity game and the player guide, Shiba Inu (SHIB) lead developer Shytoshi Kusama said he is now focusing on Shibarium, a Tier-2 solution.
Kusama said in a tweet today that he will explain in a forthcoming blog post why he is currently focusing on Shibarium and other “TREATS”.

Meanwhile, some circles criticized Kusama for not focusing on Shibarium before Shiba Eternity. A Twitter user known as SHADIE said that Shibarium should have been Kusama’s focus from the very beginning:
“Shibarium should have been your main focus from the very beginning, isn’t that why you hired game developers?
What we need right now is Shibarium, not games. This is a community project, not a personal project, tell us about shibarium, stop leaving us ignorant. We are part of the SHIB ecosystem.”
Reacting to the criticism, Kusama said that people just slurred, and he was always clear about his focus:
“It amazes me that so many people put words in my mouth. I’ve said this many times: Game -> Shibarium -> Game in Shibarium”

The Shiba Inu lead developer said he did not understand why and how SHIB has not progressed since completing step one. He reiterated that the upcoming blog post will shed more light on Shibarium.
Kusama’s comment came less than a day after he hinted that the Shibarium update was on the way.
Shibarium, Shiba Inu altcoin an important element of the ecosystem. This layer-2 scaling solution is expected to have similar features to the Ethereum scaling platform Polygon in terms of scalability, security and operability.
