Macro analyst and Real Vision CEO Raoul Pal is known as a notable figure in the cryptocurrency market and is known for his comprehensive analysis. Recently, he attracted investors’ attention with his statements that Solana (SOL) could be a significant outperformer in the next cycle. Pal notes that SOL has tremendous upside potential, as did Ethereum (ETH) in the past cycle.
In an interview on the Rug Radio YouTube channel, Pal expressed his strong belief that Solana could possibly perform as impressively as Ethereum has in the past. According to Pal, Solana could have significant upside potential from current levels, which could include an upside of between 235% and 570% for the altcoin, depending on the overall course of the market.
Pal referenced Ethereum’s past performance when explaining Solana’s potential. He suggested that based on Ethereum’s massive rise in the past cycle, a similar performance could be expected for SOL
“If you replicate for SOL what ETH did in the past cycle, that means 45x from the low. So you get somewhere around $500. Looking at other charts I get a value between $500 and $1,000. And it just depends on the structure of the market. If we get a bubble cycle this will increase to 1000. If we get some sort of left-translation, it reaches $500. “This is something similar.”

In a left-flipped crypto cycle, prices peak earlier than in normal four-year cycles, resulting in a shorter bull market and a longer bearish phase. Pal, who also evaluates the broader digital asset market other than the popular altcoin, says that the market is in the middle of a strong uptrend that he calls “crypto summer”.
