Radical Decision From This Altcoin: Solana Delivers Its Decision To Move To Blockchain!

Altcoins platform Helium (HNT) its main developers have launched the project in a move aimed at achieving additional scalability. to Solana suggested to carry.

Altcoin Developer Team Chose Solana Because It Is “Fast and Cheap”

Helium developers have brought up the “HIP 70” proposal, which proposes that the project deprecate its own Blockchain and move all Blockchain-related transactions to Solana.

The team cited Solana’s fast and inexpensive trades for the decision to select Solana for a potential migration.

The proposal argues that the transition will be a necessary step to further scale Helium’s decentralized wireless network.

Currently, Helium functions as a low-power wide area network (LPWAN) consisting of approximately 1 million Internet of Things (IoT) devices called hotspots. The team claims to have several clients leveraging the network for enterprise use cases.

The wireless network in question leverages blockchain technology primarily as an incentive layer to aid growth. Here, the team pays its users Helium (HNT) tokens as an incentive to set up hotspot devices to help expand the connectivity of the network.

The team explained that the Helium Blockchain is facing scaling complexities related to the large number of hotspots on its network and therefore wants to use a more scalable chain.

Hence, the latest proposal Helium said Blockchain layer would be more suitable for the project due to its higher speed. Solana hopes to outsource.

Another change in the proposal is the introduction of oracles, a piece of software that connects blockchains to external systems. The team said oracles will enable data to move securely between off-chain devices and the Solana Blockchain.
