By the time the fifth Indiana Jones hits theaters, leading actor Harrison Ford will be 81 years old!
Disney has postponed the start of the adventure series again after a delay due to the corona pandemic. Ford also sustained a shoulder injury on set that summer. “Indiana Jones” will now start in July 2023 instead of July 2022.
Other superhero films from Marvel Studios will also hit theaters much later than originally planned. The highly anticipated new “Black Panther” movie won’t be released until November 2022. According to the producers, the main role of the late Chadwick Boseman will not be re-cast for the sequel.
According to insiders, several of the recent postponements are due to production problems. What is more, the Marvel films are often related to one another. If one of the films is late, a domino effect is created and the other films can also only be released later.
