new York The US stock exchanges remain in the fast lane. Fresh price data on Thursday fueled investors’ hopes that the Federal Reserve’s rate hikes were nearing an end. The Dow Jones index of standard values closed 0.1 percent higher at 34,395 points. The tech-heavy Nasdaq advanced 1.6 percent to 14,138 points. The broad S&P 500 gained 0.8 percent to 4510 points.
