Precautionary Decision on 4 Shares from Borsa Istanbul

According to the statement made to KAP by Borsa Istanbul (BIST), within the scope of the Volatility Based Measures System (VBTS), the shares of Avrupa Yatirim Holding, Çemaş Döküm Sanayi, Kiler Holding and Tuğçelik Alüminyum ve Metal Mamulleri were transferred from the transactions dated 25 September (beginning of the session) to the transactions dated 24 October. It will not be subject to short sales or credit transactions until (end of the session).

Borsa Istanbul announced the stocks for which measures were taken within the scope of VBTS through the Public Disclosure Platform.

In the statement made to KAP by Borsa Istanbul, it was said:

“Within the scope of the Volatility Based Measures System (VBTS) put into effect in accordance with the Capital Markets Board decision, AVHOL.E, CEMAS.E, KLRHO.E and TUCLK.E shares were transferred from transactions dated 25/09/2023 (beginning of the session) to transactions dated 24/10/2023. It cannot be subject to short sales or credit transactions until (end of the session).

Note: Measures introduced within the scope of VBTS are evaluated separately from the trading rules of the market/platform on which the share is traded, the trading principles applied for market exchange or other reasons. Accordingly, VBTS measures continue to be implemented until the end of the measure period, separate from the validity period of the transaction principles implemented with other regulations or decisions.

In accordance with the CMB’s decision dated 06/02/2023, Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. “Short selling transactions in all shares are prohibited until a second announcement is made in the Equity Market.”
