The model, which looks like a normal Porsche Taycan from the outside, actually hides a very different beast under the hood. Taycan Turbo GT offers you 2 different equipment that you can purchase. The first is the base package and the other is the Weissach package. As you can imagine, Weissach is the craziest version of the model.

Let’s start by explaining the normal version. Taycan Turbo GT first has a completely renewed rear engine. However, there is another small detail besides all this. In the vehicle’s engine, Porsche engineers used silicon carbide (SiC), a completely new semiconductor material. This material allows electrons to move faster thanks to its crystal structure.

That means a much more powerful Taycan. So what is the result we get with this new semiconductor? First of all, we can get 780 Hp power in the standard version of the car. Subsequently, with Launch Control, 1,033 HP can be obtained and with the newly added “overboost” function, 1,108 HP can be obtained from the engine for 2 seconds.

Thanks to these high new engine powers, the car can go from 0 to 100 in 2.3 seconds. When the Weissach package is involved, this acceleration is shortened by one tenth of a second. Additionally, with the Weissach package, the car reaches 0 to 200 in 6.4 seconds.
