You don’t see that every day on the streets of the Spanish capital Madrid: traveling circus camels and a llama camping on a crossroads and enjoying a small meal on a green strip in the middle of the night.

The runaways had therefore not strayed too far from their circus called Quiros. Circus spokeswoman Mati Muñoz said: “Thank God nothing happened.” According to her, the electric fence around the enclosure of the eight camels and the lama had been cut, so the circus had filed a complaint.
