In 2023, thanks to new technological developments, its range increased by 10.5%, approximately 38 km, and reached a range of over 400 km with a full charge. The new PEUGEOT E-208, which will be launched in Turkey in the first quarter of 2024, takes the electric motor of the PEUGEOT E-308 and increases its power from 100 kW/136 HP to 115 kW/156 HP, providing a 15% power increase. Average energy consumption was reduced to only 12 kWh, a significant improvement in terms of efficiency.

PEUGEOT 208, more than 110,000 of which have been produced since 2019, also offers the fully electric E-208 option from the beginning. E-208, which stands out with its sales leadership in the electric B segment in Europe and its leadership among electric vehicles in all segments in France, offers more range and better energy consumption with its new version. The new electric motor provides 20 HP additional power, increasing from 136 HP to 156 HP. The renewed E-208 also draws attention with its design elements specific to electric models.

The new PEUGEOT E-208 is equipped with the electric powertrain systems of the PEUGEOT E-308, offering 10.5% more range and targeting a driving range of up to 400 km in the WLTP cycle. The new version comes with a new engine producing 115 kW/156 HP power and 260 Nm torque, a vibration and noise-free driving experience, and a more efficient high-voltage battery with a gross capacity of 51 kWh.

With the first optimization in 2021, E-208 reached 362 km, providing 22 km more range, and now offers 17.65% more range and 15% less energy consumption. Initial improvements include a heat pump that increases energy efficiency, “A+” class tires and a recalibration of the transmission ratio.

The new PEUGEOT E-208 has been designed as an ideal electric car for daily use. Equipped with 7.4 kW and optional 11 kW chargers as standard, the vehicle can be charged from 20% to 80% in 25 minutes at 100 kW public charging points. Drivers can choose between three different driving modes and a “BRAKE” mode that increases energy recovery.
