The Peugeot 508 was launched in 2010 as a replacement for the French manufacturer’s 407 and 607 models. The Peugeot 508 has been facelifted 2 times and 3 times as a generation in the 13-year period. In its adventure as a sedan family car, it took the form of a comfort coupe with the latest make-ups.

Peugeot describes the 508 as its flagship model. The 508, which is the representative of the brand’s D sedan segment, has many different packages and equipment options. This model went from being a family sedan to a sports comfort coupe with make-ups in 13 years. Peugeot’s more sporty and charismatic design approach is very effective in this radical design change.
When we focus on make-up processes, we see that the first thing to do is to get the new lion logo on the 508th. The touches to the grille and daytime running lights further highlight the rebellious character of the 508. Thus, the 508, which was quite aggressive in its previous generation, is getting more and more rebellious.
Peugeot 3008 and 5008 getting electrified!
Peugeot electrifies the 3008 and 5008 models. The brand has added new engine options as the first step in this electrification process.
The headlight design, which is more commonly called a lion’s tooth in the market, has become even thinner. The revamped front grille has grown into and discarded its bezels. In this way, it became a whole with the vehicle by fully adapting to it. With the shape change made in the grille, the vehicle has increased its sport premium appearance.
When we come to the side profile, a big change does not welcome us. The design that we are used to from the previous generation continues without breaking itself. In addition, the doors with a slatless design are also evident. These doors are among the most characteristic features of the 508.
Finally, we come to the rear profile. Sporty design, which we are used to from the previous make-up, welcomes us. We see that the animated led stops, which the brand attracted a lot of attention in the previous make-up, have changed. With this change, the graphics of the stops change and the Peugeot text comes to the middle of the stops.
Engine options!
The Peugeot 508 has been facelifted, but there is no change in standard engine options. The 508 will continue to come with 1.2 PureTech and 1.5 BlueHDI. But Peugeot Sport Engineered will produce a plug-in hybird version. This version will produce 365 HP of power. Other hybrid versions will have 180 HP and 225 HP. The new 508 with a facelift will hit the roads of Europe in June 2023.
