Perfect days of luxury at the Hotel Lutetia in Paris

Paris Paris, the city everyone knows and loves – it has a hard time surprising me. Louvre, Montmartre, Notre-Dame, Champs-Elysées, seen it all. Also the many small and large, good and bad hotels. I have experienced the most wonderful restaurants and bistros and the worst culinary failures here.

But this time Paris has actually done it again and surprised me with an excellent palace hotel, the Lutetia, and three great restaurants. Like so much in Paris, the Hotel Lutetia has a long history. It opened in 1910 in Art Nouveau and Art Deco style and quickly became an institution. After a long period of conversion and renovation, it reopened its legendary doors in 2018 as the house of the Set Collection, a hotel association of the Alrov Group of Israeli Alfred Akirov.
