After the application, a written opinion of the landlord against the allegations was requested. After the evaluation, TİHEK that the treatment of the prospective tenant does not have a legitimate aim signed the resolution. The most important statement that came out of the decision was:

“Since the applicant was treated discriminatory on the basis of marital status and gender in the instant case, the applicant was prevented from enjoying the legally recognized rights and freedoms on an equal basis compared to those in comparable situations, violation of the prohibition of discrimination conclusion has been reached.”

TİHEK, to the host Administrative fine of 4 thousand TL decided that this penalty should be converted into a warning penalty.
