Paribu Takes Court With A Bitcoin Investor!

Turkey’s leading cryptocurrency exchange Paribu A user was sued.

Claiming that the user accidentally sent 1655 TL of excess Bitcoin to his wallet, Paribu demanded that the excess part be returned to him. When he did not receive a positive response, he filed a complaint with Uğur S. to the prosecutor’s office.

Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation against Uğur S. on the charge of “disposal on lost or accidentally seized property” and sent the file to the conciliation office.

While Paribu wanted back the 0.05853168 BTC, which he claimed to have deposited extra, he could not come to terms with Uğur S.

After the parties could not come to an agreement, a lawsuit was filed against Uğur S. on the charge of “disposal on lost or accidentally seized property”.

The case of Uğur S., who was tried with a sentence of up to 1 year in prison, was heard at the Istanbul Anatolian 8th Criminal Court of First Instance.

Uğur S., who denied the accusations during the hearing, said, “The money specified by the company was not deposited into the account. We were also not given any information about the mistaken money deposited and the refund of this money, and there was no call,” he said.

It was a matter of curiosity what the Court would decide in the case, which was postponed in order to eliminate the missing issues.
