Paranormal Activity game adaptation is coming

According to Variety, Paranormal Activity is also being adapted into a game. The game is being developed by developer Brian Clarke with his studio under the name DarkStone Digital. Clarke was the name behind the successful indie horror game The Mortuary Assistant, released in 2022.

Publishing is undertaken by DreadXP and the game is planned to be released in 2026. According to both DreadXP and Paramount Global, the game will bring together the style of the series that we watched from the security camera with the players in different ways and will be an exciting story.

Although the platforms have not yet been confirmed, it is stated that the game will be available on multiple platforms and will use an advanced version of The Mortuary Assistant game called “Haunt System”. This system will dynamically change the types and intensity of fears players will encounter depending on their actions.

The game’s developer, Clarke, describes the Paranormal Activity game adaptation as follows: “If you found The Mortuary Assistant scary, we’re taking what we learned during the game development process and beefing it up with a more reactive and scary system. “It will be heavy, just so you know.”
