Joey Krug, chief investment officer of crypto-centric hedge fund Pantera Capital, made important statements about the second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum, in an interview with Bloomberg.
Stating that Ethereum will play a central role in global finance in the next 10 years, Krug said that he predicts 50% of global financial transactions will involve Ethereum.
“Ethereum achieves many things that other chains do not do because of its decentralized nature. If you move the time forward 10 to 20 years, about 50% of the world’s financial transactions will touch Ethereum in some way.”
The Pantera Capital chief continued his bold predictions and expressed his optimism about the future of Ethereum.
Because Krug stated that he does not see rival networks such as Polkadot, Solana and Cadano as threats to Ethereum’s global dominance.
Krug also said that among Pantera Capital’s funds, Ethereum is in the top three after Bitcoin.
Affected by the high volatility in the cryptocurrency market, Ethereum continues to trade at $3,155, according to CoinMarketCap data.
